OxyELITE Pro is a dietary supplement often used by weightlifters and fitness enthusiasts. Like other "thermogenics," it works by speeding up metabolism and encouraging the body to burn calories rather than storing them as fat. While some mild thermogenics such as caffeine are generally harmless, OxyELITE Pro has been linked to nonviral hepatitis, liver damage and death.

OxyELITE Pro has a checkered past. Until 2013, it contained 1,3-dimethylamylamine, also known as DMAA or geranium extract. But in that year the Food and Drug Administration reported that DMAA was linked to heart arrhythmia, heart attacks, seizures, liver and kidney problems, and other conditions. In response, USPlabs LLC reformulated the product early in 2013, but the new formulation is still linked to serious and potentially deadly side effects.

If you have used OxyELITE Pro in the past and you have suffered one or more of the following conditions, you may be entitled to compensation:

  • Acute nonviral hepatitis
  • Liver failure
  • Liver scarring
  • Liver inflammation
  • Elevated levels of liver enzymes
  • Heart attack
  • Psychiatric disorders
